The William Lincer Foundation Chamber Music Competition
The Board of Directors appreciates the many inquiries it receives about the composer competition
but has decided to suspend the competition until further notice.
The prize-winning composition for the 2006 competition was String Quintet 2006 (2 violins, 2 violas, cello)
by Robert Kritz of Chicago, Illinois. The 16-minute work is in two movements: "Loose Canon" and "Renewal."
Previous winners of the competition are:

2004 - Nicholas Duggan, The Wheel of Life (vln, vla, cello)
2003 - Dr. Howard Quilling, Trio (vln, vla, cello)
2002 - Benedict Brydern, Tales from the Bavarian Woods
(2 vlns, vla)
2001 - Dr. Stephen Dankner, Quartet (piano, vln, vla, cello)
